Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology (KIT) was established by Vijayalakshmi palanisamy Charitable Trust in the year 2008. It is located nearkannampalayam, Coimbatore in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is a private Institute.

The campus is rural and spread across the vast land area of 5 lakh sq. ft. or 30 acres with facilities like library, Auditorium, conference hall, food court and transport.

How to apply-

Candidates have to visit the official website or directly click the link http://kitcbe.com/admission/. Now click on the course for which one wants to apply and download the application form.

Fill in the requisite details like academic and personal details. Attach the following documents with your application and send the hard copy to the academic section within 10 days otherwise the form will not be accepted.

Admission Procedure-

For enrolling in various undergraduate courses of this institute, applicants have to sit for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

Further for postgraduate courses GATE/CAT/MAT is to be taken according to the choice of course.

The students are alloted allotment letters according to online counseling and for few courses, even manual counseling is done for enrolling the students.

Hostel and Facilities

Campus Facility

The university campus is situated in Coimbatore region of the state Tamil Nadu. It provides state of the art infrastructure for all the technical courses being offered at this institution. Its infrastructural facilities include high tech laboratories, interactive classrooms, and well-equipped workshops.

Hostel Facility

The hostel facility is available on college campus separately for boys and girls. Rooms available are on single, twin or tree sharing basis. All the basic infrastructure is included. Each room consists of a bed, table, cupboard, and bookshelf.

A wide dining hall hygienic mess is provided. A recreational room with equipment for the indoor and outdoor game is available. Aerated space, library facility, a guest house lounge and purified drinking water systems are also available.
