Scholarships

University Merit cum Means Scholarship:

Applicable To: Economically weaker students with at least 60% marks in previous examinations.
Expenses Covered: Rs. 500 per month for all courses.
Eligibility: Annual income must be less than Rs. 2 lakhs from all sources .

Sh. Hari Prakash Memorial Scholarship:

Applicable To: Students securing the highest marks in Mathematics (B.Sc. Hons./M.Sc. Mathematics).
Expenses Covered: Rs. 1000 per month.

Master Gyan Chand Memorial Scholarship:

Applicable To: Students securing the highest marks in Physics (B.Sc. Hons./M.Sc. Physics).
Expenses Covered: Rs. 1000 per month.

Smt. Panmeshwari Devi Memorial Scholarship:

Applicable To: Students securing the highest marks in Chemistry (B.Sc. Hons./M.Sc. Chemistry).
Expenses Covered: Rs. 1000 per month.

Promotion of Science Education (POSE) Scholarship Scheme:

Applicable To: Undergraduate and postgraduate students pursuing science subjects.
Expenses Covered: Rs. 4000 per month for undergraduates, Rs. 6000 per month for postgraduates.
Eligibility:
- For undergraduates: Passed class XII with at least 85% marks or equivalent grade in science subjects.
- For postgraduates: Passed B.Sc./B.A./B.Com with at least 75% marks or equivalent grade in science subjects.

The university has 14 hostels which can accommodate around 4000 students. Each hostel has a reading room and study hall having newspapers and periodicals. The common room has Dish TV connection and the students are provided with indoor games facilities for recreation.

Additional facilities available in the hostel include-

Mess facility- The hostels provide food to the students.
