Scholarships

K.U. Golden Jubilee Post-graduate Scholarships:

Applicable to: Postgraduate students of the university teaching departments.
Eligibility: Must have secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
Expenses covered: Rs. 5000 per month for 10 months.

Dr. Radha Krishan Foundation Fund Scholarship:

Applicable to: Undergraduate students of affiliated/maintained colleges and postgraduate students of the university teaching departments.
Eligibility: Students needing financial assistance.
Expenses covered: Rs. 1000 per month for 10 months.

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Students from Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes:

Applicable to: SC/BC category students with annual family income less than Rs. 2.5 lakh (SC) or Rs. 1 lakh (BC).
Expenses covered: Tuition fee, maintenance allowance and other allowances.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Program:

Applicable to: Students with at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination and annual family income less than Rs. 2 lakh.
Expenses covered: Varies from Rs. 2000 to Rs. 3000 per annum depending on the course.

National Scholarship Program:

Applicable to: Students with at least 80% marks in the qualifying examination and annual family income less than Rs. 6 lakh.
Expenses covered: Rs. 10,000 per annum.
