Scholarships

MDU Merit Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students who have secured top ranks in university-level entrance exams for admission to various courses.
Expenses Covered: Varies from Rs. 500 to Rs. 2000 per month, depending on the course and rank of the student.

Haryana State Merit Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students who have passed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. final examination of MDU in the current year and joined M.A./M.Sc./M.Com./B.Ed. as regular students in the university or its affiliated colleges.
Expenses Covered: Rs. 500 per month for a period of two years.

MDU Research Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students pursuing M.Phil. or Ph.D. programs in MDU or its affiliated colleges.
Expenses Covered: Rs. 5000 per month for M.Phil. students and Rs. 8000 per month for Ph.D. students.

Post Matric Scholarship for SC/BC Students:

Applicable to: Students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) or Backward Class (BC) categories pursuing post-matriculation courses in MDU or its affiliated colleges.
Expenses Covered: Tuition fee, maintenance allowance, books allowance and other charges as per Government of India norms.

Hostel

The university has separate hostels for boys and girls on campus with all the basic amenities.

The hostel fee structure covers accommodation charges, mess food charges and electricity charges.
