Fee Structure of Solapur University

1. Scholarship for Scheduled Castes (SC) students:

• Applicable to SC students pursuing any course at the university.
• Covers tuition fees, maintenance allowance and other expenses.
• Apply online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and submit required documents to the university.

1. Central Sector Scholarship Scheme:

• For economically weaker section students with more than 80% marks in class 12th.
• Amount: Rs. 10,000 per year for undergraduate courses and Rs. 20,000 per year for postgraduate courses.
• Apply online through the NSP and submit income certificate and other documents to the university .

1. Scheme from Tribal Welfare Department:

• For Scheduled Tribes (ST) students pursuing any course at the university.
• Covers tuition fees, hostel fees, books, stationery allowance and other expenses.
• Apply online through the Tribal Development Department Portal and submit required documents to the university .

1. Rajashri Shahu Maharaj Gunvatta Scholarship:

• For open category students with more than 75% marks in class 12th.
• Amount: Rs. 5,000 per year for undergraduate courses and Rs. 10,000 per year for postgraduate courses.
• Apply online through the Directorate of Higher Education Portal and submit caste certificate and other documents to the university .

1. Merit cum Means based Scholarship:

• For minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, Jains) with more than 50% marks in class 12th.
• Covers tuition fees, maintenance allowance and other expenses.
• Family income should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh per year.
• Apply online through the NSP and submit income certificate and other documents to the university .

The annual hostel fee for both boys and girls is approximately Rs.4,200.
