Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University is a State Private University in Fatehgarh Sahib. It was established in 2008. The campus spans 137 acres. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee established the university.

The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is also approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Courses offered include BTech, MTech, BCA, MCA, BSc, MSc, BCom, MCom, BBA, MBA, BA, MA and PhD.
