Fee Structure of Islamic University Of Science And Technology (IUST) , Pulwama
1-University Avenue, Awantipora- Merit cum Means Scholarship Scheme:
- Applicable to students who have secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Annual family income should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh.
- Scholarship amount varies from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 per annum, depending on the course.
- Post Matric Scholarship:
- Available for students belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes, Economically Backward Class, Pahari Speaking and Backward Area categories.
- Scholarship amount ranges from Rs. 300 to Rs. 1200 per month, based on the course and category.
- Schemes for Physically Challenged Students:
- For students with at least 40% disability.
- Annual family income should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.
- Scholarship amount is Rs. 2500 per annum.
The eligibility criteria for these scholarships are as follows:
- The student must be enrolled in a regular course at IUST.
- The student must not be availing any other scholarship from any other source.
- Good academic performance and attendance are required.
For postgraduate students specifically, there is a National Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies scheme under which online applications are invited by the University Grants Commission- MHRD.
