Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, National Highway Road 144A, Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir 185234Scholarships for Postgraduate Students:
- PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child: Postgraduate students who are single girl children of their parents can apply for this scholarship. It provides financial support of Rs. 36,200 per annum for a period of two years.
- PG Scholarships for University Rank Holders: Postgraduate students who have secured first or second rank in their undergraduate courses from any recognized university are eligible for this scholarship. The amount awarded is Rs. 31,000 per annum for a period of two years.
Eligibility Criteria:
- For undergraduate courses, candidates must secure 50% in their Higher Secondary Examination.
- For postgraduate courses, candidates must secure a minimum of 50% in their Higher Secondary Examination as well as the undergraduate course they have pursued prior to the course they wish to pursue presently.
Hostel rooms are spacious and maintained in a hygienic manner. There is a medical center within the hostel to assist students in case of medical emergencies. The hostel also has well-furnished rooms for boys, a computer room with wifi, water for 24 hours and indoor recreation games. It also has a water purifier and a clean hostel kitchen.
The allocation of hostel rooms is determined by certain norms. Meritorious students will be given preference.
