Adi-Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (state) Scholarship:

Applicable to: SC/ST students from Tamil Nadu with an annual income less than Rs. 2,50,000.
Covers: Tuition fee, special fee, exam fee and maintenance allowance.

Backward Classes department (state) scholarship to BC/MBC/DNC Students:

Applicable to: BC/MBC/DNC students from Tamil Nadu with an annual income less than Rs. 2,00,000 (BC) or Rs. 2,50,000 (MBC/DNC).
Covers: Tuition fee, special fee and exam fee.

Minority Students Scholarship:

Applicable to: Minority students (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis) from Tamil Nadu with an annual income less than Rs. 2,50,000.
Covers: Tuition fee and maintenance allowance.

The Government of India Scholarship (Central Sector Scholarship Scheme):

Applicable to: Meritorious students with more than 80% in 12th standard exams and an annual income less than Rs. 8,00,000.
Amount: Rs. 10,000 per year for undergraduates and Rs. 20,000 per year for postgraduates.

Chief minister's Award to SC/ST students:

Applicable to: SC/ST students with more than 60% in 10th or 12th standard exams and an annual income less than Rs. 50,000.
Amount: Rs. 3,000 (10th standard) or Rs. 5,000 (12th standard).

Private trust scholarship:

Sponsored by various private trusts and foundations such as Agaram Foundation and Management scholarship.

Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) fund:

For innovative students with marketable projects.
Offers funds up to Rs. 5,00,000 for the best projects annually .
