Scholarships at SSIPMT:

1. Kanyashree Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Female students from economically weaker sections of society.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 25,000 per year for undergraduates, Rs. 30,000 per year for postgraduates.
• Eligibility:
  • Female resident of West Bengal.
  • Passed 10+2 examination with at least 45% marks.
  • Secured admission in an undergraduate or postgraduate course at SSIPMT.
  • Not married.
  • Annual family income less than Rs. 1.2 lakh.

1. CG Govt. Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Students from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories.
• Expenses covered: Varies based on course and category.
• Eligibility:
  • Resident of Chhattisgarh.
  • Passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks.
  • Secured admission in an undergraduate or postgraduate course at SSIPMT.
  • Belong to SC/ST/OBC category.
  • Annual family income less than Rs. 2.5 lakh for SC/ST students and Rs. 1 lakh for OBC students.

1. SSIPMT Merit Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Students with high marks in qualifying examinations.
• Expenses covered: Ranges from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 50,000 per year based on course and percentage of marks.
• Eligibility:
  • Passed 10+2 examination with at least 75% marks for undergraduates, graduation with at least 65% marks for postgraduates.
  • Secured admission in SSIPMT through entrance test or merit list.
  • Maintain minimum attendance of 75% and academic performance of 70% throughout the course.
