D Y Patil College Of Engineering Akurdi Pune

D Y Patil College of Engineering is located in Akurdi, Pune. It was established in 1984. The college covers an area of 33 acres in the Pimpri Chinchwad industrial area an industrial hub.

This private and unaided institute is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in different engineering disciplines. These disciplines include Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

Faculty includes 3 professors, 100+ assistant professors and 11 associate professors. College features a computer center, library, Shantai Auditorium, language laboratory, Amphi Theatre, Dnyanaprasad Sabhagruha and transport facilities. Also, it offers hostels, sports complexes and a cafeteria.

The college accepts MHT CET and JEE Main scores for course admission. Institute has NAAC accreditation with an 'A' grade and approval from AICTE.

In terms of rankings, it was positioned 74 out of 281 colleges in India in 2023 by India Today. B.Tech program ranked 44 out of 246 colleges in same year. 

The college provides placement opportunities to students. In year 2019-20 average placement package was 11 LPA. For 2023 highest package was INR 27 LPA while median package was INR 4.5 LPA. Companies like RBL Bank, VuClips, Emerson, Avalara Technologies and Infosys recruited students from the college.
