Gossner College Ranchi

It was established in 1971. It is a minority college, affiliated to Ranchi University and is managed by Gossner Evangelical Lutheran Church (GELC) of Chotanagpur and Assam. The mission of this college is to provide the vista of university education to the deserving students coming from socially, economically backward and underprivileged communities of this region, particularly the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and other Backward Communities.The prime objective of the college is to give the young tribal christian students of Jharkhand the opportunity to arm them with knowledge that higher education can provide in a Christian atmosphere. The college is also known for excellence in games and sports. The college has to its credit students who have represented at the district/state/zonal/national and international level in various events.

Filling Of Admission Form

Before filling up the Application form please read the Prospectus carefully.

• Duly filled Application form for admission to Arts/Science/Commerce must reach the college office by the prescribed date. Please do take the duly signed receipt and retain it in your own interest.
• Affix a recent photograph in the appropriate place provided.
• Separate forms will have to be filled, in the case of candidate wishes to apply for more than One Faculty/Course.
• Photocopies of certificates to be submitted with the form:
  Mark Sheet
  Caste Certificate (For SC/ST/BC-I/BC-II applications)
  Residential Certificate.
• All original certificates along with a photograph to be submitted at the time of admission for verification.
• Selected candidates must take admission within the prescribed dates mentioned in the selection List, failing which their selection will be treated as canceled.
