Fee Structure Of BIMBBSR, Khordha-Birla Institute Of Management Technology

The BIMTECH now known as Birla Global University was founded by Basant Kumar Birla and Sarla Birla in August 2013. It is a private college which was formed an offshoot of the BIMTECH, Greater Noida. In 2015 it was transformed to Birla Global University by the provision of Birla Global University Odisha Act, 2015 and also started offering UGC recognize degree. The campus is nearly 30 acres located at Gothapatna, Bhubaneswar.

The University operates following 4 schools

1. Birla School of Management
2. Birla School of Communication
3. Birla School of Commerce
4. Birla School of Social Sciences & Humanities

The University provides separate hostel facilities for Boys and Girls with rooms available on single and twin-sharing basis. Medical facilities are available in the campus 24×7. The university has a rich library which is open from 9 am to 6:30 pm on week days (till 11 pm in exam days).

The campus has Gym, Cafeterias and organizes a lot of sports activities from time to time. The BGU organizes a fest every year in which a range of events from Singing, Battle-of-Bands, Gaming, Sports, etc can be seen.

How to apply

BIMS, also known as Birla Global University, offers BBA, MBA, MAJMC, BAJMC, M.Com, B.Com, MA, BA and PhD under the following schools:

• Birla School of Management
• Birla School of Communication
• Birla School of Social Science and Humanities
• Birla School of Commerce

Students can apply to the courses through online method.

Online method: An online admission application page is present on the college website where students can register themselves, fill the forms and upload the essential documents. A fee of Rs 1150 can be paid through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/ DD drawn in favour of “Birla Global University”, which is payable at Bhubaneswar. Documents to be uploaded:

• Scanned copy of recent passport sized photograph
• Scanned copy of signature

Admission procedure

The Bachelor level courses require pass percentage in intermediate along with qualifying marks in BGU written test and interview.

The Masters courses require a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream. Followed by a written test and interview.

For MBA Group Discussion and Personal Interview will follow the aforementioned criteria for masters courses. Marks of management entrances (CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT) might be considered as well

Apart from a regular mess which serves breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner, students can also try out a variety of dishes at the cafeteria. A well-equipped gym, laboratories, libraries, a medical center, and 24-hour ambulance service are some of the facilities available for members of the institute.

Hostel

There are separate hostels for girls and boys. Rooms are well maintained and provided with 24-hour electricity, water supply, internet accessibility etc. and can be single or twin-sharing. For the men’s hostel, triple-sharing rooms are also available. In addition, there are both on-campus and off-campus hostels for students to choose from.

Student life

Students can avail different kinds of sports facilities (both indoor and outdoor) and form clubs that conduct several activities on a regular basis.
