Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI) is an autonomous institution that was established in 1983. Since, its inception it has been known for producing global leaders in business that challenge the traditional business norms and emerge as valuable assets for a company. EDI offers post graduation opportunities in Business Entrepreneurship and Development Studies.

How to apply

1. Candidates seeking admission to 2 – year, full – time Post Graduate Diploma in Management course – PGDM – Business Entrepreneurship have a choice to either follow online application or offline registrations.

3. The application fee is INR 1000 which is to be made by Demand Draft drawn in favour of EDI to be payable at Ahmedabad at the nearest HDFC or IDBI bank in the account details as follows

Admission Procedure

1. Candidates must appear for any of the entrance tests viz. CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT.
2. Further selected candidates on the basis of their scores will be called upon for Entrepreneurial Aptitude Test (EAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates who have pursued a 3 - year Degree course in any discipline or a 4 - year Degree course in Engineering/Technology/Medicine/Other, from a university recognized by the UGC/AIU/AICTE are eligible for PGDM course with at least 50% overall aggregate marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to the Reserved category, as per norms) .
2. Candidates appearing for their final year examinations towards their Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.

Campus Facilities

1. Away from the hustle and the bustle of the city life of Ahmedabad resides the campus of EDI which is articulate for healthy life of students.
2. The campus is an architecture marvel and houses many classrooms, seminar halls, computer centre, conference halls, library and auditorium.
3. Sports and recreational rooms are also facilitated in the campus.

Hostel

1. The campus houses a full furnished air - conditioned and non air - conditioned residence halls for participants and students.
2. There are 96 hostel rooms for boys on twin-sharing basis (air conditioned and non air - conditioned) with attached bath.
3. For girls, a separate hostel is on campus called “Narmada” on twin - sharing basis with attached bath.
4. The dining halls serve hygienic food to all residential students.

Student Life

1. Student life at EDI is colourful and culture of the institute induces the value of taking risks in students to attain higher profits.
2. Many festivals are celebrated round the calendar year and students have a ball during this time.
3. Sports competitions are also held to light up the competitive spirit in students.
