The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Gandhinagar was established in 1995.

NIFT Gandhinagar offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Key UG programs include Bachelor of Fashion Design, Bachelor of Accessory Design and Bachelor of Textile Design. Bachelor of Fashion Design is flagship course offered by NIFT Gandhinagar.

NIFT Gandhinagar features 24 labs dedicated to different aspects of fashion design and technology. It has well-equipped classrooms, an auditorium, an amphitheater, a music and dance room and a gymnasium among other facilities. Hostel accommodations are available for female students.

Admissions are offered through NIFT entrance exam.

NIFT Gandhinagar is an autonomous institute approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
