Gandhinagar Institute of Technology was established in 2006. The institute is located 24 km from Ahmedabad. It is a private college, establishedby Platinum foundation Trust and is affiliated to the Gujarat Technological University.

The college offers UG, PG degree in engineering and management courses.

Eligibility criteria for the courses-

There are no in-campus hostels provided by the college. The institute has a state of the art laboratories, canteens, Wi-Fi access and a nonprofit student’s store within campus premises. It has seminar halls, computer centers, transportation facilities and ATM services.

There is also an open air theatre and synthetic grounds for cricket, football and volleyball. It has an indoor games complex for carom, chess and badminton. The institute has horse riding facilities.

Placement Procedure

• Eligible Students after going through placement rules are required to register themselves with placement cell by signing “Expression of Interest for placements” before a designated date.
• Thereafter, students have to submit their relevant data in a prescribed format along with their resume to the placement cell.
• The students will be shortlisted by the Company and such names will be notified.

Note: If any student secures an off- Campus Offer letter, he/she cannot accept such offer without prior permission of the placement officer. An Act to the contrary will be regarded as a policy violation of placement cell.

Application and Admission Procedure

How to apply?

Students have to go to the website to download a document with a list of Help Centres which will have Information booklets regarding the admission process. Application process is done via online mode where candidates must register themselves on the admissions page in the official website of the institute.

Students have to print out the submitted form and attach required documents before presenting it in one of the Help Centres. The registration fee is Rs. 350/- for B.E. and Rs. 1000/- for M.E, payable online.

• Class 10 and Class 12 Mark sheet + passing certificate
• Migration and character certificate
• Qualifying Mark sheet for UG + semester Marksheets
• Validating documents of scores obtained in required entrance exam (GUJCET/PGCET/CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT)
• Passport sized photographs

Admission Procedure

Admission to UG courses is done on the basis of GUJCET score. Admission to PG courses require a qualifying UG degree and scores obtained in PGCET exam.

Admission into management courses depends on the scores obtained in any National level entrance exam – CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT.

There is no hostel facility provided by the college.
