Scholarships

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students with good academic records from economically weaker sections.
Expenses covered: Rs. 1000 per month for undergraduate students, Rs. 2000 per month for postgraduate students.
Eligibility:
- Annual income of parents/guardians should not exceed Rs. 4.5 lakhs.
- Minimum 60% marks in the previous semester/year.
- No backlogs or disciplinary actions.
- At least 75% attendance in the current semester/year.

New Merit Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students with outstanding performance in academics, sports, arts, culture, social work and leadership.
Expenses covered: Rs. 5000 per year for undergraduate students, Rs. 10000 per year for postgraduate students.
Eligibility:
- Minimum 70% marks in the previous semester/year.
- Participation in national/international level events or competitions.
- At least one award or recognition in the relevant field.
- At least 75% attendance in the current semester/year.

Various scholarships sponsored by individuals or organizations:
- Erach and Meheroo Mehta Merit Scholarship: Given to one undergraduate student from each branch of engineering with the highest CPI in the previous semester/year (Rs. 10000 per year).
- Class-of-2016 Scholarships: Awarded to two undergraduate students from each branch of engineering with the second and third highest CPI (Rs. 5000 per year for each student).
- Class-of-2015 Scholarships: Given to two undergraduate students from each branch of engineering with the fourth and fifth highest CPI (Rs. 2500 per year for each student).
- Kandoi-Dairkee-Gaurav (KDG) Scholarship: Awarded to one undergraduate female student from each branch with the highest CPI (Rs. 10000 per year).
- Prof. DV Pai Scholarship: Given to one undergraduate SC/ST student from each branch with the highest CPI (Rs. 10000 per year).
