Bharat Technology (BT) Howrah

Bharat Technology, located in Uluberia, Howrah, West Bengal, is a private educational institute. It was established in 2006 and is an unaided private institute. The main focus of the institute is to provide pharmacy education.

Bharat Technology offers many pharmacy programs. These include Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Master in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) with specializations in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Industrial Pharmacy. The Bachelor in Pharmacy program is the flagship course.

Institute enjoys approvals from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) and West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development (WBSCT&VE&SD), Kolkata.

Bharat Technology features modern facilities, including well-equipped laboratories, a library with books and journals and sports facilities. The institute provides separate hostels for boys and girls and a computer lab with updated software.

For admissions the institute accepts scores from the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) and the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). Candidates for postgraduate programs must have completed B.Pharma and achieved a rank in the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) or Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET).
