IBM started its MBA program in 1984. It is affiliated to Jadavpur University, Kolkata. It is the only institute affiliated to Jadavpur University (ranked 5^th amongst all universities in India), to offer an MBA.

IBM offers MBA for both fresher’s as well as working executives and offers MBA in the following specializations:-

• Project Management
• Human Resources
• Systems Management

Selection is made based on the results of the bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) and scores in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ JEMAT and performance in the interview. The course duration is two years and the total course fee is INR 3,10,025 which are to be paid either through bank draft or pay order.

HOSTEL AND FACILITIES

Affiliated to Jadavpur University and located in West Bengal, Institute of Business Management is a great institute when it comes to providing world-class facilities to the students.

The institute has a well-maintained library with modern high speed computers. A total of 11000 books are present in the library with 2640 different titles. The library has also subscribed to around 45 national and international journals along with e-journals and business databases. Designed to be an open access system, the library is quite spacious and air-conditioned with a seating capacity of around 60.

The class rooms are spacious, well-ventilated and air-conditioned. Projector facility is present in all the rooms. Soon, all the classrooms will be converted into ‘smart’ classrooms.

The computer labs are excellent and well-equipped with all the modern software and hardware facilities. Around 80 computers have been made available to the faculty and the students.

Known as ‘Indumati Sabahgreha’, the college has a spacious and large auditorium. It is fully air-conditioned and is well equipped to host any expert talk, seminar or guest lecture.

The institute also has a language lab for the students.
