Church Caarmel Engineering College, established in the year 2002 by Caarmel Education Trust is a leading co-educational private self- financing institute. It offers under graduate and post graduate degree courses in Engineering and Post graduate courses in Management.

The College is situated in Perunad of Pathanamthitta District, in the southern part of Kerala. It is a 120 acre campus located in serene and campus, nestled amidst wooded hills in Kerala. It is about 1.5 km away from the town area in Pathanmthitta. The nearest railway station is Chengannur.

Separate boys and girls hotel is provided by the college with a total capacity of 400 inmates. Facilities such as mess facility, transportation, medical-aid, etc are also furnished.

The college was established with a vision to train each student in a way that they become value based professionals and thus contribute to the betterment of society. A placement cell is established by the authorities to ensure this.

Hostel and Facilities

Caarmel Engineering College has a huge campus consisting of five blocks of four storied building spanning across an area of 20000 sq. Metre. The campus life is mainly devoted to library, hostels and conference halls helping student to study and learn together.

The library provided by this college consists of over 20,000 books. Digital library is also available which is fully computerised and can be accessed with the help of multimedia facility and internet access. A library committee is present from each department to guide the librarian on the proper utilisation of the library.

Bus trips are also provided to the staffs and students along with free transportation to the hostellers once a month to the nearest railway station.

Hostels are separate for both men and women within the campus with a capacity of 400 in each. Admission is strictly for the CEC students and has to be renewed yearly.
