Anjalai Ammal Mahalingam Engineering College (AAMEC) was established in the year 1995 by founder-chairman Thiru M Namasivayam. It is located in Kovilvenni, Tamil Nadu and is affiliated to Anna University.

The institution offers 7 undergraduate courses and 1 post graduate course along with the departments of basic sciences and humanities.

Cutoff and Placements

Anjalai Ammal Mahalingam Engineering College has its own placement cell which works under the aegis of Dr. K. Kannan who is the placement officer. A total of 419 students have been recruited between the years 2009-2014. 58 companies have visited the college for recruitment drives.

• Training programmes in Aptitude, Quantitative and Logical Reasoning, Verbal Communication, Language Development in French and German is provided.
• Courses on ANSYS Engineering Simulation and 3D Design Software are run during summer. Mock interviews and Group Discussions are held to train them further.

Application and Admission Procedure

HOW TO APPLY:

A minimum of 50% marks in intermediate for general category candidates and 45% for reserved category candidates is required as the basic eligibility criterion. The candidate needs to download the application form available on the official website. The application process is as follows:

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

The institute provides admission on merit basis in case of under graduate courses and for post graduate courses admission is granted on the basis of merit obtained in TANCET, the application for which starts in the month of April and exam is held in the month of May.

Hostel:

Anjalai Ammal Mahalingam Engineering College has segregated hostels facilities for boys and girls. The girls hostel has 57 rooms in total and the boys hostel has 70.
