Fee Structure Of IIE, Nadia-Ideal Institute Of Engineering

The Ideal Institute of Engineering (IIE), Kalyani, is a private institution established in 2010, affiliated to the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata. It has been duly approved by the AICTE, and is located in Kalyani, Nadia District, West Bengal.

The Institute has 8 departments, and offers BE and B. Tech courses at the undergraduate level. It does not offer any courses at the postgraduate level as of now.

The IIE is spread across a 5.76-acre charming campus surrounded by gardens, and offers facilities such as proximity to public transport, state-of-the-art labs and computational facilities, a well-stocked central library subscribed to J-GATE, indoor and outdoor sports amenities, a cafeteria, as well as a hostel for boys and girls which includes a mess.

The admission into the UG programs is granted on the basis of merit marks scored in the applicant’s Class 12^th boards, as well as scoring on the JEE MAIN or WBJEE.

For Engineering:-

Admission Procedure:-

• Candidates must be at least 17 years of age. There is no upper age limit.
• Students must qualified either WBJEE or JEE MAIN
• They must pass Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent examination from well-renowned board.
• Students must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Along with compulsory subjects, candidates must have Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject.
• Technical Vocational Subject can be either Engineering drawing or Computer Science.

For M.C.A Course: –

Students seeking for direct admission to the course are necessary to be Bachelors’ Degree holders as 10 + 2 +3 system with Computer or Mathematics as of the subjects.

For M. Tech course:-

• Students should be Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering and Technology holder.

Lateral Eligibility Criteria:-

• 50% aggregate in Diploma (Engg.) / B.Sc.
• Candidates must secured rank in JELET

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel:

The campus is vast and spreads in a landscape of 5.6 acres. It faces the Kalyani Shilpanchal Station. The campus has 3 hostels of which 2 are reserved for boys and 1 for girls.

Power and water supply is provided on a regular basis. The hostels are maintained by the staff present 24/7. The mess is inside the hostels premises and supply different foodstuffs every day. A cafeteria with a fast food store is available as well.

Parking facility is given to students for their own convenience.

Other facilities:

The college campus harbors a well stocked library centre, a computer lab with more than 200 computers and a science lab.

There is an indoor games room along with sports courts on the campus. The students can also flourish creatively through participating in technical workshops.

The annual cultural fest Iphigenia 1.0 involves various fashion, dance, art, music, fete and technical exhibitions.
