Fee Structure of Bethune College, Kolkata

1. Aikyashree: This scholarship is for students belonging to minority communities (Buddhist, Christian, Jain, Muslim, Parsee & Sikh). It provides different scholarships such as Merit-Cum-Means, Post Matric, Pre Matric and Talent Support Stipend (TSP) for poor and meritorious students.
2. Kanyashree Prakalpa: A scheme for girls aged 13 to 19 years who are unmarried and enrolled in classes VIII to XII. It offers an annual scholarship of Rs. 1000 and a one-time grant of Rs. 25000 after completing 18 years of age and passing the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
3. Kanyashree Prakalpa (K3): For girls who have received the one-time grant under Kanyashree Prakalpa and are pursuing higher education in undergraduate or post-graduate courses. It provides a monthly scholarship of Rs. 2000 for undergraduate students and Rs. 2500 for post-graduate students.
4. National Scholarships Students' Aid Fund: Created by the college to provide financial assistance to needy and deserving students.
5. Swami Vivekananda Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship Scheme: For students who have secured at least 75% marks in the last examination and whose family income does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum. It provides a monthly scholarship of Rs. 1000 for undergraduate students and Rs. 1500 for post-graduate students.

There are scholarships specific to certain courses or subjects, such as:

• Chhanda Mitra Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to a student of Physics Department on merit cum means basis.
• Debendranath Das Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to a needy student.
• Kamalabala Mukherjee Memorial Scholarship: Awarded for highest proficiency in Chemistry Honours in the B.Sc Exam from Bethune College.
