1. Post Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child Scholarship (by UGC):

• Applicable to: Single girl students pursuing postgraduate courses in non-professional subjects.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 36,200 per annum for two years.

1. Kanyashree Prakalpa (by the Govt. of West Bengal):

• Applicable to: Unmarried girls from economically backward families studying in class 8 to postgraduate level.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 750 per annum for class 8 to 12 and Rs. 25,000 as a one-time grant for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

1. Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship (by Govt. of WB):

• Applicable to: Students with at least 75% marks in the last examination and family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum.
• Expenses covered: Ranges from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 60,000 per annum depending on the level of study.

1. Scholarship for Students with Disabilities (Umbrella scholarship) (by GoI):

• Applicable to: Students with at least 40% disability and family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum.
• Expenses covered: Ranges from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 60,000 per annum depending on the level of study.

1. Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) Scholarship (by DST, MST, GOI):

• Applicable to: Top 1% students in class 12 board examination pursuing natural and basic sciences at B.Sc., B.Sc.(Hons), M.Sc., or integrated M.Sc. level.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 80,000 per annum for five years.

There are other scholarships offered by private organizations and foundations such as LIC, Colgate, GP Birla, Sitaram Jindal, KC Mahindra, FAEA, etc.
