Fee Structure Of SATI, Vidisha-Samrat Ashok Technological Institute

The Samrat Ashok Technological Institute was established on November 1 in the year 1960 by a financial aid provided by Gangajali Trust fund. It was inaugurated by Late Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia. This institute in its present form as an autonomous organization came into being in 2011 via a state notification under the aegis of University Grant Commission.

It is located in Vidisha in the state of Madhya Pradesh and has a sprawling campus of 85 acres with lush green environment and state of the art infrastructure. The institute has been accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) for five years and has also been selected under TEQIP financial assistance programme of World Bank.

Application and Admission Procedure

HOW TO APPLY?

Admission to all bachelors of engineering courses in Samrat Ashok Technological Institute is done by Directorate of technical education (DTE) which is a department of technical education and skill development government of Madhya Pradesh (DTE) Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. This process is counselling based on the merit list of JEE conducted by CBSE.

The students can apply for the same online as well as offline.

ONLINE APPLICATION

The candidates can apply online by visiting the official University website.

OFFLINE APPLICATION

Candidate can apply offline by purchasing the application form and the information brochure from the institute by making a payment online of rupees 1000 and rupees 600 for SC ST candidates.

DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED

Candidates must submit their recent passport size photograph along with the application form the other documents like class 10th pass certificate and marksheet, class 12th pass certificate and marksheet, college leaving certificate, conduct certificate from the institute last attended.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Post entrance examination a merit list will be published by the institute which would lead to scheduled group discussions and personal interviews with the selected students.

Candidates are selected on basis of their academic performance, the content matter of the application form, performance in their brief discussion and interview performance, participation in extracurricular activities and the schools they have ranked in competitive exams like CAT, MAT, and CMAT. After the final selection candidates are eligible for admission.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

The college has three boys’ hostels having a total residential capacity of 325 and two girls’ hostels with a capacity of 100 students each. The hostels are well-maintained with quality furniture as per the requirements of the students.

Other facilities like clean and safe drinking water, solar water heating system and geysers are also available for the use of the students. Recreational facilities for students like indoor common rooms, reading rooms and television rooms. Each hostel has its own power generation set also.

Other Facilities

The institute has a central library with all kinds of text and reference books. All departments have their own computer labs with good internet connectivity. A central ‘state-of-the-art’ computer centre with 120 computer systems is a major attraction.

The college has a central workshop to support fabrication works involved in the projects and has modern metrology laboratory for precision measurement.
