KK Handique Government Sanskrit College is located in Guwahati in Sikkim. It is only institute in North-East region that offers formal Degree and Higher Secondary courses in Sanskrit. The college was established in 1970. College spans a campus of 40 acres and is affiliated to Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit And Ancient Studies University.

The college offers different courses with the BA Sanskrit Major being the flagship course. Other courses include Diploma in Jyotisha, PG Diploma in Yoga and Meditation and Diploma in Tantra.
