Indian Institute of Business Management, Patna was established in 1979, thus, pioneering an education hub for courses in Business, Hospitality, Computer Sciences and Family Business Management. IIBM, Patna an autonomous institute since the time of its inception offers a 2 – year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) recognized by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE) which is equivalent to Masters of Business Administration (MBA). How To Apply

1. A candidate seeking admissions to 2 – year, full – time PGDM course at IIBM, Patna must fill the application form online via the link - http://iibm.in/application/ and print the duly filled – in application form to be sent to admissions office at IIBM, Patna.
2. Prior to application process, candidate must appear for a personal interview with the institute’s management so as to get acquainted with the admission process. 3. An amount of INR 750 is the application fee which is to be paid by a Demand Draft in favour of Indian Institute of Business Management and payable at Patna.
4. Submit the application form duly filled – in along with the following documents by mail (post/courier) or in – person:
   • Photocopy of Standard 10th Certificate
   • Photocopy of 10 +2 Passing Certificate
   • Photocopy of Graduation Passing Certificate
   • Photocopy of Post Graduate Certificate (if any)
   • Photocopy of CMAT/MAT/CAT Scorecard
   • Photocopy of Relevant Experience Certificate or Transcript
   • 4 Passport Size Colour Photographs
   • Current CV or Resume covering since time of end of education until the time of this application (Size not exceeding 2 pages)
   • Demand Draft for INR 750, non – refundable (application fee) in favour of Indian Institute of Business Management to be payable at Patna.

Admission Procedure

1. Admission to 2 – year, full – time PGDM course at IIBM, Patna begins through an informal pre – application interview, then based on evaluation of entrance exam scores students are selected for GD/PI rounds and final filtering of students is based on Group Discussions/Personal Interview (GD/PI). IIBM also considers the work – experience of candidates in admission process.
2. For admission to PGDM, you must appear for at least one of the entrance exams viz. Common Admission Test (CAT)/ Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)/Management Aptitude Test (MAT)

Eligibility Criteria

1. All candidates seeking admissions to 2 – year, full – time PGDM course at IIBM, Patna must be graduates holding a bachelor’s degree, irrespective of any majors/disciplines/streams, from a recognized university and must appear for an entrance test viz. CAT/CMAT/XAT/MAT
2. Candidates with at least 2 years of work experience are also eligible for PGDM admission with permission from the employer.
