Ishan Uday Special Scholarship Scheme:

Applicable to: Students from the North Eastern Region (NER) who have secured admission in general degree courses, technical and professional courses (including medical and para-medical courses).
Expenses covered: Rs. 7,800 per month for general degree courses, Rs. 9,600 per month for technical/professional/medical/para-medical courses.
Eligibility:
- Domicile of NER
- Passed Class XII or equivalent in the preceding year
- Secured admission in the first year of any degree course
- Annual income of parents/guardians should not exceed Rs. 4.5 lakh
- Not availing any other scholarship or financial assistance.

Post Matric Scholarship for ST/SC/OBC/MOBC students:

Applicable to: Students belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and More Other Backward Classes (MOBC) categories pursuing post matriculation studies.
Expenses covered: Varies based on course and category.
Eligibility:
- Permanent resident of Assam
- Belongs to ST/SC/OBC/MOBC category
- Passed qualifying examination in the previous year
- Secured admission in a recognized institution
- Annual income of parents/guardians should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh for ST/SC students and Rs. 1.5 lakh for OBC/MOBC students
- Not availing any other scholarship or stipend.

Minority Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students belonging to minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi) pursuing higher education from Class XI to PhD level.
Expenses covered: Varies based on level of study and category.
Eligibility:
- Belongs to one of the minority communities
- Secured at least 50% marks in the previous final examination
- Annual income of parents/guardians should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh for pre-matric scholarship, Rs. 2.5 lakh for post-matric scholarship and Rs. 6 lakh for merit-cum-means scholarship
- Not availing any other scholarship or financial assistance.
