COLLEGE PROFILE
Modern Institute of Engineering and Technology, popularly known as MIET, is located in West Bengal. The college was established in 2010. Approved by All India Council of Technical Education, the college is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. The college offers various courses at diploma and undergraduate level.
The institute offers all the modern facilities to the students including a well-maintained library, transportation facilities, auditorium, spacious classrooms, seminar halls and conference rooms. The campus is fully residential with hostel facilities for all the students.
All the admissions are strictly merit-based. The students need to qualify the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or Joint Entrance Examination (Main) to secure admission in the college.
The college has a dedicated training and placement cell to help students secure decent jobs. Various companies like Prasar Bharti, DVC, Indian Oil Limited, Airtel, Exide, BSNL etc. visit the campus every year to recruit the students for various job profiles.
