Munnar Catering College, Idukki, Kerala was established as a joint Venture between Indira Gandhi National Open University and Thachankary Foundation to lay the grounds for enhancement of Skills, knowledge, attitude and Awareness among the students about the diversified areas of the Hospitality sector and the scope for earning a life offered by the same sector. The sole motive of the institution has been to motivate the students to take up hospitality sector as their work area. The institution excels in designing the syllabus and curriculum for educational programs and promotes the same through on job training sessions.

Admission
Filled in application forms should be sent to the respective centres alongwith an application fee of Rs. 1000/- by DD in favour of 'Munnar Catering College' payable at Munnar/ Cochin /Trivandrum respectively.
Registration For Admission
Advance Registration for Admission can be done at Munnar Catering College by paying `25000/- for the programmes conducted by International Campus at Munnar and `10000/- for the programmes conducted at Cochin & Trivandrum City Centres. This amount will be adjusted against the 1st year course fee itself. The Registration Fee will not be refunded under any circumstances if admission is granted; but will be refunded if admission is not granted.
Uniforms & Tools
Students Uniforms & Tools will be provided by the college at actual costs which will come approximately to `10,000/-

The International Campus at Munnar being 100% residential, admission is limited, subject to availability of hostel facility. For the convenience of those who cannot study at the main campus at Munnar, the city campuses of Munnar Catering College are established at Cochin and Trivandrum in the following locations by the promoters.
