With a concrete plan to offer excellence in techno education and to meet the present status of industrial growth academicians and integellicia of Vidya Sagar Charitable Trust formed KIST in the year 2001.It has got AICTE and Govt. of Orissa approval and is affiliated to Biju Pattnaik University of Technology(BPUT) Rourkela
