Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology Management came into existence in 2002. This is a private and self-financed technological institute and abrainchild of Shri RN Majumder (well-known industrialist). It is affiliated by AICTE and West Bengal State University.

This institute offers total 6 courses. It provides only UG degree in some branches of engineering like Chemical engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering etc.

This institute is one of the top technical institutes in West Bengal. Within a very short span of time, it has acquired this position. It is situated in the township of Durgapur, West Bengal and covers quite a large area. It is surrounded by a lush greenery. This institute provides some good faculties.

The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Apart from this, it provides hostel facility, labs, library, and sports facilities to its students. Moreover, it has a good placement cell which helps its students to get good placements. Besides that, it also supports many Central Govt initiatives for social upliftment.

DIATM Durgapur is an AICTE approved technical institution founded in 202. It is a private self-financed institute based in Durgapur, West Bengal. It is affiliated to West Bengal Institute of Technology.

The institution offers the following UG programmes

B.Tech

Discipline: Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering

Eligibility: Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination of W.B Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other recognized Board or University

90% students of approved intake capacity will be admitted on the basis of merit position secured by the candidate in the Joint Entrance Examination of the State. Students on the basis of merit position in JEE MAIN may also be admitted up to 10% of total intake

Diploma Holders in Engineering /Technology qualifying in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) are eligible on the basis of merit position for admission in the 3rd semester (2nd year) of B.Tech course

Candidate should satisfy the stipulated standard of physical fitness with good mental and physical health

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology Management has 4 hostels in total amongst them three are boys hostels named as Kanchenjunga 1,2 ,3 and one is a girls hostel named as Kaveri. The hostels can accommodate 400 and 200 students respectively. The hostels are fully furnished and have great facilities. There is 24 hours Wi-Fi facility in all the hostels.

There are some rules which the students need to follow while living in the hostels, they are not allowed to stay out after 8:00 pm.

Campus Facilities

There are three canteens in total in the college campus and a big library. They serve both vegetarian and non vegetarian food according to the need of the students; the food is cooked separately for both the vegetarians and non vegetarians.

The campus also has ATM facility in the campus along with a hospital to maintain the health of the students. It also has general stores to serve the needs of the students.
