Scholarships

50% freeship on tuition fees: This scholarship is for students who have secured more than 90% marks in their 10+2 or equivalent examination. It is applicable for all undergraduate (UG) courses except B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.
Scholarship scheme for North East states: This scholarship is for students who belong to any of the eight North Eastern states of India. It provides a 20% waiver on the tuition fee for all UG and postgraduate (PG) courses.
Scholarship for wards of JIS Group employees: This scholarship is for students who are children or siblings of JIS Group employees. It provides a waiver on the tuition fee depending on the term of service of the employee. It is applicable for all UG, PG and diploma courses.
Government scholarship schemes:
- Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship: For students with at least 75% marks in their last qualifying examination and an annual family income less than Rs. 2.5 lakhs. Provides a monthly stipend for UG and diploma students.
- Kanyashree Prakalpa: For unmarried female students with an annual family income less than Rs. 1.2 lakhs. Provides a one-time grant for UG students.
- Minority Scholarship: For students from minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi). Provides financial assistance based on course and income level.
