HIT provides various scholarships to its students based on merit and need. Some of the scholarships include:

Post-matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities: Applicable to students belonging to minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Zoroastrians) who have secured at least 50% marks in the previous final examination and whose annual family income does not exceed Rs. 2 lakh.
