Fee Structure of University Of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) , Dharwad

1. Saksham Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Specially-abled students pursuing technical education.
• Expenses covered: Tuition fees, books and stationery expenses and living expenses.
• Eligibility: At least 40% disability, annual family income not exceeding Rs. 8 lakhs, admission in an AICTE approved institution.

1. Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students:

• Applicable to: Girl students pursuing technical education.
• Expenses covered: Tuition fees, books and stationery expenses and living expenses.
• Eligibility: Admitted in the first year of an AICTE approved institution, annual family income not exceeding Rs. 8 lakhs, only one girl child per family eligible.

1. Scheme of Merit cum Means Based Scholarships for Students Belonging to Minority Communities:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Zoroastrians) pursuing technical or professional courses.
• Expenses covered: Tuition fees and maintenance allowance.
• Eligibility: Secured at least 50% marks in the previous final examination, annual family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakhs, admission in an institution recognized by an appropriate authority.

1. ICAR-JRF/SRF Fellowship:

• Applicable to: Students pursuing postgraduate or doctoral degree programs in agriculture and allied sciences.
• Expenses covered: Contingency grant, house rent allowance and medical allowance.
• Eligibility: Qualified the ICAR All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) to PG or PhD programs, secured admission in an accredited institution.

1. ICAR-PG Scholarship:

• Applicable to: Students pursuing master's degree programs in agriculture and allied sciences.
• Expenses covered: Contingency grant and house rent allowance.
• Eligibility: Qualified the ICAR AIEEA to PG programs, secured admission in an accredited institution.

1. ICAR-NET Fellowship:

• Applicable to: Students who have qualified the ICAR National Eligibility Test (NET) in agriculture and allied sciences.
• Expenses covered: Contingency grant and house rent allowance.
• Eligibility: Registered for PhD in an accredited institution within two years of qualifying the NET.

Note - UASD also offers other scholarships such as merit scholarships, post-matric scholarships, national talent scholarships, national means-cum-merit scholarships, etc.

Hostel Fee Structure-

• The annual hostel fee is approximately INR 2,000.

Facilities Included in the Fee Structure-

• The fee structure includes accommodation in the hostel.
• Additional charges may apply for other facilities.
• The hostel provides mess facilities.
