The university provides scholarships to students who have secured more than 75% in their 12th standard and 70% in the entrance examination.
The National Service Scheme Wing provides training to undergraduate students and coordinates adult literacy programs. Eligible students who are part of the NSS wing can apply for student education loans from the university.

For post-graduate courses like MA, M.Sc., M.Com, MSW, LLM, M.Ed., M.P.Ed., etc., the post matric scholarship is awarded at the rate of Rs.400 per semester per annum.
For professional courses like MBA, MCA, the scholarship amount is Rs.500 per semester per annum.
There is a special cell for the SC/ST students which sanctions fellowship and scholarships to students belonging to this category.
Post Matric Scholarship is offered for minority students with an annual income less than INR 2 Lakhs.
Merit Cum Means Scholarship is provided for minority students with an annual income less than INR 2.5 Lakhs.
