Fee Structure Of CUK, Gulbarga-Central University Of Karnataka

The Central university of Karnataka (CUK) was established in the year 2009 by an Act of Parliament. The university has its permanent campus in Gulbarga, Karnataka. It is accredited to UGC (University Grants Commission) and NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).

The university offers 16 Departments spread in 8 Schools and 1 Centre, and offering 9 Dual degree programs, 15 Master degree programs, 16 Research (PhD) programs. The University spreads over 650 acres of land handed over by the Karnataka State, and has hostel, security, sports facilities, health centers, guest houses, etc. It even has a Bank and Post Office.

The candidates looking for admission has to appear in CUCET which is a Common Entrance Test for the Central University of Karnataka. Candidates will be admitted based on the test scores.

Campus Facilities

The University has 654 acres campus, situated near Kadaganchi village in the district of Kalaburagi, Karnataka State. It provides excellent infrastructure including spacious and well lit class rooms, well stocked library, multi-purpose auditorium, cafeterias. It also provides to play a number of sports including cricket, football, lawn tennis, basketball and others.

The campus also has a Computer centre which caters the needs of different academic departments and various sections of the University. The mission of Computer Centre at CUK is to create and maintain IT environment for the pursuit of academic excellence

Hostel Facilities

The university has altogether two spacious and well-furnished separate hostels for both boys and girls within the campus.The hostel will be allotted as per the merit – cum – reservation depending upon intake of students in the departments. Additionally, the students originating from far- off places will be given preference during the hostel allotment.
