National Law University, Odisha (NLUO) Cuttack

National Law University is located in Cuttak in Odisha and it was established in 2008. It is a State Public University. The campus spans 50 acres. The university predominantly focuses on legal education. 

It offers multiple legal programs. Flagship programs include five-year integrated BALLB (Hons.) and BBALLB (Hons.). It also provides a Master of Law (LLM) degree and a PhD program. The intake for undergraduate programs is 180 students.

The university has 909 students enrolled and employs 43 faculty members. Facilities available at university include air-conditioned classrooms, separate hostels for boys and girls, a food court, a gym and sports amenities. The law library at the university is noted as the largest in Asia.

Admissions for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs depend on CLAT scores. National Law University, Odisha is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with an 'A' grade by NAAC. Its degrees are acknowledged by the Bar Council of India.

In NIRF Rankings 2023, university ranked 30th among law universities in India. It is also listed as one of top 10 law schools by India Today Ranking 2023. The university has international collaborations, including two projects with entities in the Netherlands and Paris.

Placements  - The university reported that 47 undergraduate and 28 postgraduate students successfully obtained jobs in 2022. The highest salary package for undergraduate students was INR 17 LPA with a median package of INR 10 LPA.
