National Institute Of Technology (NIT) Warangal

The National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NIT Warangal) was established in 1959. It was the first regional engineering college in the country. The institute is located in Warangal and covers approximately 248 acres.

NIT Warangal is recognized by Department of Higher Education of Ministry of Human Resources Development of India. It holds accreditation from National Board of Accreditation and National Assessment and Accreditation Council earning an 'A' grade.

In rankings NIT Warangal is 21st in the engineering category and 53rd overall according to NIRF 2023. It ranks 1726 in Best Global Universities by US News & World Report.

In 2023 placement season highest package reached INR 88 LPA. The institute received over 1400 job offers resulting in a placement rate of 82%.
