The university offers undergraduate postgraduate and doctoral programs. It has nine faculties covering Science, Law, Commerce & Management, Oriental Languages, Arts and Social Sciences. Specializations offered include Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Food Science & Technology, Physics (Instrumentation) and Mathematics.
Currently the university has 1,100+ students and 40+ faculty members. It has over 160 affiliated colleges across Telangana. Facilities include a library, computer centers, hostel, sports complex and a placement cell. The university also has a health center providing primary medical facilities to students.
Admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate courses are based on merit. PhD courses require entrance exams. The university accepts TS LAWCET, TS EAMCET and TS ICET for admissions.
It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an 'A' grade. It is also approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The university is ranked 63 for BCA by IIRF 2022.
