IGIDR Scholarships and Financial Assistance:

IGIDR-IDRC scholarships for M.Sc./M.Phil. students from select Asian countries	Students from eligible countries (e.g., Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan)	US$ 500 per month for M.Sc., US$ 700 per month for M.Phil.	citizen of eligible country meeting academic requirements
Fellowship for M.Phil./Ph.D. students	All M.Phil./Ph.D. students	Rs. 25,000 per month for first two years, Rs. 35,000 per month for next three years	Enrolled in M.Phil./Ph.D., maintain satisfactory academic performance

Additional Details:

The Post-Doctoral Fellowship supports high-quality research by scholars with a doctoral degree and an outstanding academic record. Two fellowships are available initially for one year, extendable by one more year.
The Selected Scholar receives a monthly scholarship of Rs.100,000, round-trip travel expenses up to Rs.50,000, fixed medical coverage of Rs.25,000, book grant of Rs.50,000, research grant of Rs.100,000 and conference travel support up to Rs.150,000.
