Nitra Technical Campus (NITRA) Ghaziabad

Nitra Technical Campus is a government-aided college located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 1974. Campus covers an area of 1,68,000 sq ft.

The institute focuses on technical education in textiles and engineering streams. Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA) was established by the Government of India and the textile industry.

Nitra Technical Campus offers AICTE-approved B.Tech programs. The courses offered include B.Tech in Textile Technology, Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and CSE with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. It is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

Faculty-student ratio at campus is 1-12. The institute is equipped with different facilities including hostel accommodation, a cafeteria, laboratories, a library, Wi-Fi access and a sports complex.

Admissions for B.Tech (regular) program depend on JEE Main exam scores. For the B.Tech (lateral) program CUET scores are considered.

In 2020 Outlook Magazine ranked Nitra Technical Campus as the 10th Best Engineering Institute. The NIRF Ranking 2020 placed it at 151st position among engineering colleges. It is only ISO 9001-2015 accredited textile research association in India.

In recent placement season around 26 students got placements in different companies. Some of these companies included Innobit Systems and Chetu India. Highest salary package offered was approximately INR 12 LPA while average salary was INR 4 LPA.
