The institute was established in the year 1996-1997 and has come a long way in the field of management science. GNIM strives to create some of the leading managers of the era by proving them quality education not only theoretically but also practically.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel:

The campus of GNIM offers a futuristic experience with Hi-tech labs, classrooms and auditoriums.

It does not provide hostel accommodations to any of the genders. Students can look for PG rooms nearby.

Other facilities:

The institute harbors a branch of Punjab and Sind Bank, a seminar hall, reprographic room, gender segregated indoor games rooms, medical centre, cafeteria, A/C computer labs, playgrounds and a library with more than 19000 books.

Each student is provided with two months summer internships with different industries. Study tours are also conducted for a first-hand experience. Mother dairy, Bisleri, Patiala Flour Mill, Maruti Suzuki have been the recent employers for traineeship. Vodafone, Shoppers Stop, Yes Bank, Idea, HT media, Parle, HCL, IBM are a few others among the many.

Apart from celebrating Sikh festivals, the also organises technical and cultural events. Recently, laptops were distributed to meritorious students. Students can contribute in the college magazine Infinity as well.

Scholarships are given to students based on merit. Graduate students can avail cash reward facility if they score above 60%. The amount ranges between Rs 15000- Rs 40000, depending on the percentage.
