School Of Planning And Architecture (SPA) Delhi

The School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi (SPA New Delhi) is a deemed university. It is recognized as an Institute of National Importance. It was established in 1941. The campus is 30 acres in size.

SPA New Delhi provides undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses, with a focus on planning and architecture. It offers two undergraduate programs and eleven postgraduate programs. The Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) is the flagship course.

Institute has more than 1100 students and scholars. Faculty includes 105 full-time members and over 200 visiting faculty. SPA New Delhi has facilities like a library, computer center, many labs, workshops, sports facilities, hostels, a canteen, a stationery and printing unit and an AV unit.

Admissions to BArch and B.Plan programs require JEE Main Exam. For postgraduate courses admissions are based on GATE/CEED scores. Institute is accredited by NAAC and approved by AICTE. In the NIRF 2023 ranking, it placed 5th among top architecture and planning institutes in India.

Placements - In 2022 median package for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs was INR 6 LPA.
