Students get accepted on the basis of scores obtained in CET/ COMEDK/ PGECET and further rules and regulation made by VTU are followed during the admission process. Application forms are available both in offline and online mode. Online forms can be submitted after payment of the fee via net banking/credit card/debit card or any other digital payment mode. Scanned copies of a colour photograph, mark sheets of class X and XII and candidate signature need to be uploaded along with the completed application form and application fees.

The institute provides well-furnished hostels for boys and girls and for both national and international students. The institute has digital classrooms, health care centre, indoor and outdoor sports facilities and excellent internet connection and has collaborations with European universities for exchange programs.

How to Apply

Online Mode

• The application forms are available online on the official website. The candidates need to read the instructions carefully before filling the form and then fill in all the required details accurately.
• The students will have to appear for the entrance examination depending upon the desired course chosen by them. The university evaluates the ranks and prepares a merit list.
• Then single window counseling or an online counseling takes place where the students are allotted the colleges and the courses on the basis of the merit.
• The students are then called for counseling and admission.
• Around 50% of the students get admission on the basis of the CET rank and 30% students get admission through the Undergraduate entrance test.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

The institute provides 7 hostels for female students and 5 hostels for male students. The hostels are managed and supervised by the warden.

Hostel facilities include bed, mattresses, wardrobe, attached kitchen, book shelf, newspaper, RO water, mess, laundry service, wifi, ambulance and emergency medical service.

Campus facilities

This institute’s infrastructure includes auditorium, halls, seminar halls, conference room, bank, ATM, Laboratories, e- learning, stadiums, learning centers, training centers, placement cells, cafeteria, sports facility, gym, and wifi availability etc.

The Acharya Institute also provides some societies and activity clubs that help and motivate students to take part in extracurricular activities. Some of the societies are Robotics, club, adventure club, quiz club, nature club, photography club, and fine arts club.

Acharya Habba the cultural and technical fest of the institute is celebrated every year. Some other festivals like Ethnic day, Fresher’s day and farewell day are also celebrated in the institute.
