The institute was formed as a part of CMR Group of institutions. The institute is an autonomous body approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi. The institute strives to provide quality education in the field of management and create skilled professionals. Established in the year 1996 the institute has come a long way ever since then.

The institute is divided into 2 academic blocks namely:

• Department of management and commerce
• Department of information technology

The major recruiters of this institute are Jp Morgan, Huawei, Tesco, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, HDFC bank etc.

The college caters to all the basic needs of the students such as transport, ATM, canteen, computer labs etc. For admissions to the institute the candidate should have passed the intermediate examination under any state board and with any grace marks. Admission granted strictly on merit basis only.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

The campus has an infrastructure suited for a peaceful study environment. The campus has two arenas and a spacious Basketball court.

Hostels are available for both boys and girls with furnished rooms and adequate supply of natural resources such as power and water. The hostels are secure and have good dining facilities. North and South Indian cuisine is served.

There is a TV room, lounges, neat and clean washrooms, a number of canteens and cafés for snacks.

Medical and counselling cells are there in the hotels for the respective needs of students.

Other facilities

The college has a well stocked Library, a spacious Auditorium and a Computer Room with fast WiFi connection.

Students can join these clubs under the streams Management and Commerce and Information Technology: Bizzy Height, Vibrations, Wiztech, Techform, ITC Zars.

Recruiters like Tech Mahindra, Oracle, Huawei, IBM etc select students through on campus tests and interviews via the Placement Cell of the college.

The college keeps holding talks on socio-economic issues and professional lectures. They also celebrate English Day annually at an event called ECLAT.
