Fee Structure Of NIEIT, Mysore-Nie Institute Of Technology

The NIEIT was established in the year 2008 under the auspices of the NIE Foundation. The Institute is located in Mysore, Karnataka. It is a private Institution which is affiliated with the Visvesraya Technological University ( VTU ) and is approved by the AICTE. The institute aims at the development of students into brilliant engineers through the best provisions.

The campus is spacious and well maintained with a Bank, ATM, Health Centre, Canteen, Mess, Library, Hostels, Technical and Language labs and a very good transportation facility.

The institute offers B.Tech courses under the following departments:

• Computer Science and Engineering
• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Information Science and Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

There is a Basic Science Department as well which facilitates research in areas like Number Theory, Astro-Physics etc. The admission to the B.Tech courses demands 45% marks in Intermediate with the respective scores/rank in state entrance exams, such as CET/COMED-K etc.

The institute also organises various sports, culture and extracurricular activities. The Placement Cell achieved 123 placements in total last year with the highest package of Rs 5.5 lakh.

The college keeps holding interesting out-of-the-box workshops, NSS and NCC activities, National talks and seminars on Technology and Science and colourful fests throughout the year.

ONLINE PROCESS

For fillings the forms online follow the steps given below-

1. Firstly, do the registration.
2. Fill the applications form.
3. Upload passport sign self-attested photo of the candidate.
4. Upload the signature of the candidate.
5. Upload scanned copies of required documents.
6. Click on submit button.
7. Pay the application fee online.

OFFLINE PROCESS

For filling the application forms follows the steps mentioned below-

1. Download the form or collect from the institute.
2. Fill the form with all the details that are required.
3. Past passport size photograph of the candidate.
4. Self-Attest all the important documents and attach it to the form.
5. Submit it to the institute or send via mail along with the application fees by sending a demand draft in the favour of the institute’s address.

Admission Procedure

NIE gives admission to the candidates who clear the entrance such as KCET, CET and GATE.

Hostel and Facilities

Campus Facility

NIE Institute of Technology campus is situated in the lush green campus with state of the art infrastructure. It provides a serene and calm environment in a beautiful area of Mysore. It has interactive classroom modules and aids the same with audio-visual and smart equipment techniques.

It has a well-stocked library and an advanced digital resource center. Well equipped laboratories and departmental workshops are also incorporated in the campus premises.

Other facilities include transportation, cafeteria, auditorium, coffee shop, Bank, ATM, Medical health center, Language Lab, and Browsing center. 24/7 internet facility and round the clock security for a whole college campus is provided by the college management.

Hostel

Separate hostels are available in NIEIT institute for both boys and girls.It provides hostel on the first come first serve basis. The hostels accommodate only the students coming from far off place due to its limited capacity.

Each room has a bed, a table, a chair and an almirah. All the hostels have wide dining space and a hygienic mess with a wide variety of cuisine. Hostels provide 24-hour power supply and internet facility. Recreational rooms have indoor and outdoor games along with an attached reading room.

The hostels are equipped with solar water heaters which provide 24-hour water supply. Hostels provide a homely atmosphere.
