TKM University is one of the premier institutes for management in India. The college is situated in a green environment and is considered as one of the best B Schools in Kerala. The college situated at the Musalliar Hills and Karunvelil near Kollam. The University was established in 1995 and is affiliated to University of Kerala and AICTE.
How to Apply- The Candidate must appear for the CMAT or MAT for the qualification to be admitted in the institution.
- The Candidate must fill the application form of the TKM University. The candidate can visit the campus and take the hardcopy of the form in return of INR 500 cash.
- The Candidate can download the application form the http://www.tkmim.org/content/webpages/DownloadApplicationForm.aspx and send the duly filled application form with DD of INR 500 in favor of The Director, TKM University.
- Candidate must appear for the AICTE conducted examinations of CMAT or MAT.
- The Candidate must apply with TKM University to be considered for the admission.
- After the result is declared, the institute releases the names of the candidates shortlisted for the course according to merit.
- The shortlisted candidate must have to go for GD and PI.
- The institute releases the name of the shortlisted candidates from the GD and PI for admission.
- The candidate must have a Bachelor Degree or Equivalent education.
- The candidate must have 3 years of education post 10+2 or equivalent.
- The candidate must have appeared for CMAT or MAT
- Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
The infrastructure of the institute is highly designed and engineered. Situated at the lush green environment, the TKM University has one of the most beautiful campuses for management studies in India. The campus consists of corporate training center which upgrades the students. Apart from it there is library as well which enables the visual studies for the students as well. The establishment of Language Lab is also a boost for the students. Canteen facility is also present at the institute which offers good food.
HostelThe Hostel Campus of the TKM University is lavish and well furnished. There is different hostel campus for boys and girls. The common room has the facilities for the indoor games and entertainment options. The Hostel Campus is situated inside the campus and it is quite spacious.
PlacementThe college has a good reputation of high placement. There is a dedicated placement cell present at the university which does not only take care of campus placement but also ensures the skills development of the students. Many multinational companies generally come for the recruitments. However, not much information is available on the placement record. Companies like Nokia, Colgate, ITC, Bloomberg, Axis Bank and others.
Student LifeThis is one of the better places for the students in the university. The awesome university gives the pleasure of great level of student entertainment. The institute ensured that the students have a memorable time as a student.

Eligibility
To pursue MBA at TKMIM students must satisfy following eligibility criteria.
The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the MBA Program is a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary / Higher Secondary / Pre-degree Examinations (or equivalent) conducted by a Board / University.
Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree examinations may also apply subject to completing their examinations or viva-voce, if any, before June 30. Such candidates will however have to fulfil the above eligibility requirements in respect of minimum academic qualifications for admission and furnish evidence to that effect latest by October 31. At the time of interview and/or admissions, they will be required to produce a letter from their College Principal / Head of Institution stating the exam dates.
Candidates with appropriate industry experience will be given preference for admissions. Their work experience will be given due weightage in terms of the organization, position held and duration.
Admission Procedure
Selected candidates will be called to attend Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Multiple Group Discussion & Personal Interview lists will be released in phases, both before and after the Application Deadline. The intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail. In the case of some programs, Group Discussion may not be conducted, in favor of a rigorous interview process.
The selection criteria for calling candidates for admissions is based on multiple factors as follows:
- Past academic performance
- Quality & content of the answers in the application form
- Work experience, if any , in terms of job content & organization
- Group Discussion & Interview performance (applicable for final admissions only)
- Extra curricular activities, other interests & accomplishments
- Competitive Test score (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT)
A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be offered final admission. Test scores are NOT the only criteria for selection.
A high test score does not guarantee a call for Group Discussion/Interview. The selection criteria are based on multiple factors as mentioned above.
