Mea Engineering College, Perinthalmanna (MEAEC) Malappuram

MEA Engineering College, located in Perinthalmanna, is a private engineering institute established in 2002. The Muslim Educational Association (MEA) founded the college.

The college focuses on engineering education. Campus covers 28 acres. It holds approval from AICTE and is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and the University of Calicut.

MEA Engineering College offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Undergraduate programs include B.Tech degrees in Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering. For admissions the college accepts KEAM for B.Tech and GATE for MTech The college does not conduct its own entrance examinations.

MEA Engineering College is first self-financing engineering college to receive NAAC accreditation with a B+ grade. It also has NBA accreditation for the CSE and Mechanical Engineering programs for a duration of three years.

Placements - Major companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro and Cognizant recruit regularly. College collaborates internationally and is part of MIELES project which connects Indian colleges with European institutes.
