College Of Engineering, Attingal Thiruvananthapuram

The College of Engineering, Attingal (CEAL) is a technical institute in Trivandrum. The Government of Kerala established it in the academic year 2004-2005. CEAL is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University (KTU). It was previously part of Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) until 2015.

The college offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programs in different disciplines. These include Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. A B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is also available.

The college admits 300 students annually across four departments. CEAL has a library containing over 10,000 books and a computer center with a 100 Mbps National Knowledge Network connection. Various technical societies and clubs are also part of the campus facilities.

Admissions are conducted based on the All Kerala Common Entrance Examination. CEAL is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college is part of the IHRD which has over 92 institutes including nine engineering colleges. 

CEAL is located near Technopark, Trivandrum, which contributes to its strong campus placement opportunities. For the 2022-23 batch, the placement rate was 90% for eligible students in CS, EC and EEE, with average salaries ranging from 3 to 7.5 lakhs.
